Radio Presets

How many of you have preset stations that have been programmed in your car radio? I never could figure out how to do this (yes I know how to work a camera but not a car radio) so I never bothered and happily used my search feature and flicked from station to station until I found a song I liked. About two weeks ago I went to the casino for a friends birthday and one of the party goers is an avid music fan and kept asking me to flip between two particular stations, and when I kept pressing search he asked me “Don’t you have them preset into your radio?” at which time, shamed, I admitted that no, I didn’t know how to do it. So my husband, who was also in the car pipes up and says “oh I have the same radio” and then shows me how to do it, and it’s really as simple as pushing and holding down the button – which is pretty much what I do for a living! So anyways to make a long story, shorter (but not quite short) I now know how to create presets for my car radio – does that mean I use them? Nope! I hate being limited! I like to flip around and discover what is out there and it’s kinda funny because when I thought about it – it’s how I am with my business too! I have a tendency to always want to learn and grow more and never settle for the same old thing. So next time your listening to your favorite station and your not so favorite song comes on – switch it up and jump outside of the box – that’s when life’s best lessons and surprises happen :)
