If i titled my blog posts according to my clients personalities rather than their names I would have titled this one “kindred spirits” – yesterday I had the pleasure of heading out to Balls Falls and photographing Natalie and Adam’s engagement photos. As always during any kind of a shoot the conversation was going a mile a minute and of course as often happens, I discovered that the bride and I share something in common but in this case it’s almost more than a shared interest – I’d call it a shared love. Embarrassingly, I was talking about my mother, always joking (especially during my teenage years) that I was overdramatic, everything was always the end of the world, she’d tell me to give it up – and call me Anne (with an e) Shirley. As I was telling this story (yes, I regularly and often share funny and sometimes embarassing stories with my clients to make them laugh – and that folks is the trick to getting a good laughing picture
and professing my love for my “bosom” buddy Anne – Natalie cried out “me too!”. When I think back to all of the “me too” memories with all of my clients on different subjects it makes me so happy and also makes me feel incredibly lucky that I am so fortunate to get brides (and yes sometimes grooms) that come my way with whom I have so many common interests. I love getting to know everyone and learning about who they are it’s one of the best parts of being a wedding photographer. On that note here is a few images from their session . . .

Ok so I’m pretty fearless when it comes to climbing to different spots but these guys were awesome – they are literally on the edge of this waterfall

Any one else out there who might be an Anne fan might get this – the white picket fence was too narrow but we figured the drop on the other side of this wall made it just as dangerous
Take that Josie Pye

Thanks again to Natalie and Adam for being so awesome – I had a great time
Wishing you friendship and love,
Amanda
